For the second year, my friend Danielle and I made a trip to Washington DC for the Nothing But Nets Leadership Summit with the UN Foundation and JCI USA. This advocacy summit’s goal is to raise awareness and support for the Nothing But Nets campaign and their work to eliminate malaria.
My mom, sister and I have taken up the hobby of antiquing. When we have a free morning on the weekends, we will pile into my car and travel to a nearby town to browse the wares in the various antique malls in our area.
I live for fall colors. Something about the muted browns, fiery reds and oranges, in contrast with blue and gray skies, makes me feel the most alive.
